Fisherman's Cove
At Greenwater Lake Provincial Park,

Saskatchewan, Canada
Jens Nerlien built the first private resort in the '60s.
Glen & Vivian Broberg bought it in 1969 and renamed it Fisherman's Cove.
Vaughn & Sue Binkley bought the Cove in 1980. In 1982, it
was destroyed by fire, and the present log building was erected in 1983. It
changed hands twice in the interim, and early this year it was purchased by a
group of private investors.
Fisherman's Cove is an all-year-round resort adjacent to one
of Saskatchewan's prettiest parks. Privately owned, it offers a Dining Room and
Lounge, Store, Laundromat, Rental Cabins, Swimming Pool (in Season), Gas Bar,
ATM, and Mini-Golf. Newly added, and now open, is their tavern, with off-sale.

Just as beautiful in the winter

July 2nd:
Elwood and crew installed sod.
This photo looks at the new
entrance from the south.
This one is taken from
the new entrance.

The swimming pool area is
finished, and the pool is back in operation.

Here is a recent photo showing the whole building:

The Executive, or Honeymoon Suite.

The rooms are bright and spacious; most have two double
beds.

But two have one double bed each.

There are two bright lounging
areas overlooking the pool, where people can relax, watch their kids in the
pool, or visit with friends.
