Fisherman's Cove

At Greenwater Lake Provincial Park,

Fisherman's Cove

Saskatchewan, Canada

Jens Nerlien built the first private resort in the '60s. Nerlien's Shell Glen & Vivian Broberg bought it in 1969 and renamed it Fisherman's Cove.

Vaughn & Sue Binkley bought the Cove in 1980. In 1982, it was destroyed by fire, and the present log building was erected in 1983. It changed hands twice in the interim, and early this year it was purchased by a group of private investors.

Fisherman's Cove is an all-year-round resort adjacent to one of Saskatchewan's prettiest parks. Privately owned, it offers a Dining Room and Lounge, Store, Laundromat, Rental Cabins, Swimming Pool (in Season), Gas Bar, ATM, and Mini-Golf. Newly added, and now open, is their tavern, with off-sale.
